Express Turf Direct is excited to announce our first Dog Training Facility installation at LUKE AFB

  • In April of 2010, Express Turf Direct installed 45,000 square feet of our EXT 80 Fescue product at Luke AFB.
  • This facility is a state of the art training facility for both military and local law enforcement.
  • The Luke AFB K-9 training facility has two pods of 22,500 square feet of artificial turf training space. Each pod has mulitiple training obstacles, with the one of the areas covered completely by a Shade Structure.
  • The artificial turf installation will save Luke AFB a tremendous amount of money on water, manpower, and maintenance. As an added bonus, Express Turf Direct installed our XCushion artificial turf product around all of the course obstacles. This helps to lessen the impact on the K-9 dogs legs and hips as they plant and land from jumping through obstacles on the training course.
  • Our Koolfill infill was used to help reduce the hot temperatures of the pod that is exposed to constant sunlight.
